Taiwan Trip Part II “Jiu Fen Golden Waterfall”
Here another
waterfall I had visited on Taiwan, these one quiet different with the previous
one ( which I meant Shi Fen Waterfall I talked in my
previous post ). Golden waterfall is located near the Gold Ecological Park in
Jun Gua Shi (Mining Town) or Tourish
Village Jiu Fen. This Waterfall not too big and not exactly
looks like a Waterfall as usual, but what make its special was the water of its
called Yin-Yang Sea. The water that forms this unusual
fall has a yellow hue from the copper and iron deposits it picks up as it
passes through Jin Gua Shi's old mines. You'll find
the waterfall down from the Gold Ecological Park as you head towards the sea
(which is also a yellowish colour from the river
water).
To
reach there you could take Keelung Bus routes no 788, 825, 827, 856, 1062 go to Jiu Fen, the
destination in sequence from Ruifang Railway Station
– Jiu Fen- Jin Gua Shi -
Golden Waterfalls – Shuinandong. Golden Waterfall is
2.5 Km away from Jin Gua Shi. Coming from Jiu Fen, only buses that go beyond Jin Gua
Shi will pass Golden Waterfalls. Some Keelung bus routes do not have a
designated stop at Golden Waterfalls. You need to request the bus driver to
allow you to get off at Golden Waterfall. That’s all the information I got from
Trip Advisor to reach there by bus, because last time during my visit I was
using private car from Shi Fen to there and it’s take time about 40 minutes.
Besides
the waterfall I was spotted a giant mountain, its look like it’s has four
limps. I love all the scenery around there, each spot has it’s
special view, that time when I visited there the weather really calm and
friendly, not hot either not rainy. It’s was in the mountain so the air is so
fresh and even more complete with those incredible view. I visited there in the
same day with Shi Fen Waterfall, in one day visiting two different Waterfall really made my day, as I really love everything
about nature. Here I took some photos on there as below
